2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R

What biker hasn’t dreamed of a Kawasaki? This year’s (well actually the 2011 – but who’s counting?) ZX-10R is promising to be the bike Kawasaki lovers have been dreaming of. Talk about one powerful literbike monster! This is it. And the best thing is that reviewers are saying that it is not a simple remake of other older versions of the 10R. It has been totally redesigned with literally no parts having been carried over. The ZX-10R has 22 pounds less weight and more power (great combination there!) however, it does have less traction that was claimed in the new traction control system that is supposed to be the most technically sophisticated on the market and part of standard issue now by Kawasaki. And, it is seconds faster around tracks than the 2010 edition so that it will be possible to turn quicker lap times than other competitors in literbikes.

All in all, this is probably going to be the most significant sportbike to be unveiled this year. With a total new design, more technological advances, there won’t be another bike out there that can touch it! Pre launch testing proves it to be so much faster than previous generations and has several improvements in instrumentation, comfort and of course curb appeal. Truthfully, that’s a huge part of the package right there. Why have powerful bikes without appeal? But the biggest seller is sure to be traction control which is second only to its standard equipment that is ‘optional’ on other inferior bikes.
