2010 BMW F800GS

While the BMW is not the biggest bike out there, it is all relative and is huge compared to some of Honda’s models like the KTM640 Adventure. The BMW F800GS with dualies is the epitome in bikes and is their best selling hardcore bike that really needs a seasoned rider to handle.

It is equipped with a 17 inch rear hoop, a 21 inch front and knobbies that are as unique as you could hope for. The F800GS does have a non adjustable inverted fork though and although it has adjustable non linkage with only single shock rear suspension, it is great by street bike specs, even if not by dirt bike standards.

One of the amazing benefits is that, although it has a big tall engine, that does accommodate a seat that is a whopping 34.6 inches tall. This bike has great ground clearance but it’s a good thing it isn’t much taller or it would be difficult to keep from tipping. Some reviewers think the height makes it awkward, but others feel that extra height is a godsend on the open road as it provides for more visibility. Also, it is found to be great on rough terrain.

With as much power as this bike has, it’s a good thing the ABS work well! It has surprisingly great maneuverability for a bike this big which makes it easy to understand why BMW bikes are in a class of their own.
